City Administrator/Economic Development Manager Patrick Brama <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Strommen called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:04 p.m., <br />followed bythe Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Strommen. <br />2. PRESENTATION <br />2.01: Legislative Update <br />Mayor Strommen noted that Representatives Peggy Scott and Abigail Whelan are present tonight <br />and invited them to provide an update. She noted that both representatives were present earlier <br />in the night for the work session discussion. <br />Representative Whelan thanked the Council for the time to speak tonight and stated that it is. a <br />pleasure to work with. Ramsey. She stated that there are three main priorities for the upcoming <br />session, noting that the transportation and tax bills are carryovers from the last session. She <br />stated that tax relief is a huge element of the tax bill. She provided additional information on the <br />transportation bill and possible funding that could be used for road and bridge repairs. She stated <br />that the last item that will be a priority for this session would be bonding, noting that she hopes <br />that those projects will be necessary projects compared to projects that are simply desired.
