City of Ramsey Report Summary <br />Otsego <br />The City of Otsego has limited acres available for industrial development. Two sites <br />exist that are ready for development and are zoned industrial. <br />Site one is city owned and was purchased by the City through tax forfeiture. The site is <br />five acres in size and has limited infrastructure, Significant soil correction would be <br />needed to make the site ready for development, as rnuch of the site is low relative to <br />surrounding property. <br />Duke Energy owrks site 2. The site is approximately 5 acres in size with full <br />improvements. The site is not for sale but Duke will consider build to suit and build to <br />lease proposals whereby the developer retains ownership of the property. All utilities <br />are available. For desirable projects the City would consider providing tax increment <br />financing and tax abatement. <br />
