PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission met on Tuesday, September 1, 1987 <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota to interview applicants for the Commission. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mr. Gerald Zimmerman, Chairman Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br /> Mr. Jim Holm <br /> Mr. Jim Howell <br /> Mr. Charles LaDue <br /> Mr. Roy Shumway <br /> <br />Also Present: Community Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the interview session to order at 7:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Interview #1: Robert Sharp: <br /> <br />Mr. Sharp did not appear for the scheduled interview. <br /> <br />I_~Lflfd~: Art Dussl: <br /> <br />Mr. Dussl did not appear for the scheduled interview. <br /> <br />Interview #3: Michael Terry: <br /> <br />Mr. Terry stated that he wants to be on the Commission to have input into <br />the development and growth in Ramsey. He feels that he has the ability to <br />see the entire situation including the bottom line and potential costs. <br />Mr. Terry stated that he feels that utilities are necessary in the urban <br />area; though not necessarily in residential areas with larger lots. <br /> <br />Mr. Terry stated that he is single, has no children and has been a Ramsey <br />resident for 4-5 years. Evening meetings would not be a problem for him to <br />attend. Mr. Terry also noted that in a recent planning case near his home, <br />the residents did not have enough information and didn't know what was <br />being proposed; the residents need to know the facts. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />The Commission adjourned the interviews at 7:29 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />An~e L.
