Motion by Commissioner Zimmerman and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to <br />recommend that Ms. Walker approach City Council for a minor subdivision <br />that would create a 2-1/2 acre lot and a 7-1/2 acre lot with the easterly <br />lot containing at least 200 feet of road frontage. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Deemer, <br />Zimmerman, Hendriksen and LaDue. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners <br />Shumway and Howell. <br /> <br />Case #2: Request For Sketch Plan Review; Case Of Mr. M~i Boser: <br /> <br />Mr. Boser was present to resubmit a sketch plan that was revised so that <br />the street would align with 171st and extend across the plat to the <br />northern boundary. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated that he is still concerned with one of the lots <br />accessing directly onto Variolite in addition to the plat access. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to <br />recommended that Mr. Boser proceed to the preliminary plat stage. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Deemer, <br />Zimmerman, Hendriksen and LaDue. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners <br />Howell and Shumway. <br /> <br />Case #3: Request For Sketch Plan Review; Case Of Mr. Gilbert M~kv~ld; <br /> <br />Mr. Menkveld was present for a sketch plan review of a subdivision of 16 <br />acres located south of Cry. Rd. #63, northeast of the intersection with <br />Variolite Street N.W. and Cry. Rd. #63. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to <br />recommend that Mr. Gilbert Menkveld proceed to the preliminary plat stage <br />and include a street that will extend to the southern boundary of the plat <br />with a temporary cul-de-sac. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: <br />Deemer, Hendriksen and LaDue. <br />Howell and Shumway. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Zimmerman, <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners <br /> <br />Case #4: Request For Sketch Plan RevieW.; Case Of Mr. Randy Dryden: <br /> <br />Mr. Dryden was not present at this time. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris noted that soil borings have been received and City Engineer <br />Raatikka is concerned that the 5 acre site may not be buildable. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />table Mr. Dryden's case until he is present to answer questions. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
