Voting No: None. b) Park and Recreation - Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to take the following action on the Park and Recreation Commission's recommenda- tion regarding the reappointments of the below listed persons: 1) Approve the reappointment of Mr. John Lichter to a four year term which will expire December 31, 1986. 2) Approve the reappointment of Mr. Ronald Hetland to a four year term which will expire December 31, 1986. 3) Approve the reappointment of Mr. Donald Lokker to a four yea~ term 'which will expire December 31, 1986. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, Cox and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. C~se #4: Proposed Ordinance' Governing The Installation Of Municipal Utilities: No action made to set a special Council meeting to review the proposed Ordinance with the Ad Hoc Committee. Case #5: Wage And Fringe Increases For Full-Time And Part-Time Employees And Public Officials: Refer to Page 17, Paragraph 5of these minutes. Case #6: Payment Of Bills: Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to adopt Resolution #82- 171 authorizing the payment of bills in the amount of $241,565.49. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #82~71 ). Further Discussion: Councilmember Reimann questionned why fuel oil bills were not paid within 10 days in order for the City to receive a discount. Mr. Berg replied all bills require Council approval prior to payment. Mr. Schnelle replied that the City does pay gasoline and fuel oil bills immediately, but that he would check to make sure the City is receiving a discount. Councilmember R~imann then directed that Terry Reuther not receive his campaign sign refund and that Merle Mevissen remove Terry Reuther's campaign signs from the City of Ramsey. Councilmember Reimann also directed that City Staff notify Mr. Hartinger to remove his campaign signs from the City of Ramsey. Councilmember Reimann stated that he would like to discuss with Police Chief Auspos just exactly what the City is expected to provide for the police, with reference to a bill for a $90 jacket. Mayor Gamec stated that there is a policy manual that the City has adopted. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None.
