As you know, ?ol~cy 39 establishes funding <br />priorities based on each community's pr~visicn of lower-cost housing, and its <br />plans, policies and programs to provide such housing in the future. The policy <br />is used to rank applications from public a~encies or local governmental units <br />for state ar federal fun~s, including grml~s for transportation, criminal <br />justice, parks and open space, and aging. <br /> <br />Enclosed you wi ll find a summary of the Policy 39 Evaluation Criteri~a. and the <br />evaluation' criteria questionnaire for 1983. A ccmolete explanation of all the <br />~critsria, which has been mailed to your city previously, can be secured upon <br />request. <br /> <br />Without your assistance in updating these scores, the Council will have to <br />upon ~nformation already available to us. In mos~ cases, .our data about <br />hcusing activity in your community and knowledge of your codes and ordinances <br />will not be as.current or accurate as that which you can provide us.
