Greenberg <br /> <br /> The purpose of the hearings is to gather additional <br />information on the proposed area. s which may be helpful to the <br />WMB in determining which areas should be placed on the final <br />inventory of hazardous waste processing areas. Information <br />related to the criteria utilized by the ¥~B, as well as any other <br />information which may assist the WMB in determining whether an <br />area should be included in the final inventory of processing areas <br />may be submitted at the hearing. ~. <br /> <br /> At the hearings, any local, government unit in which an area <br />is~'proposed for inclusion in the inventory may pr'opose an '.-. <br />alternative area or areas within its jurisdiction. Minn. Stat. § <br />115A.09, subd. 3 (1982). These alternatives may include (a) <br />exclusion or inclusion of land within or near the designated <br />proposed area,' (b). a different location within the jurisdiction of <br /> <br /> <br />
