I CASE #12: AD HOC UTILITY COMMITTEE:

I
I
I

It is being requested that Council consider extending the time period of
the Ad Hoc Utility Committee or create a Utility Commission. The reason
we are asking that you reinstate this group is that we feel there should
be a standing operating procedure adopted in how the City will proceed
with utilities in developed areas. There should be specific guidelines
adopted whereby citizens know way in advance about forthcoming utilities.

Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of said request.
If you approve of extending the present Ad Hoc Committee it should be to
accomplish the above stated task. The following proposed motion is hereby
submitted for your consideration:

Motion by--seconded by to reinstate the
Council Ad Hoc Utility Committee for the purpose of preparing a
standing operating procedure for the City when it extends utilities
into a developed residential area.

Motion carried. Voting yes

.. Voting no

I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
