I
I
I
I

Commission when Council conducts their own public hearing and goes on to make
a decision without much regard for Planning and Zoning's recommendation?

.Mayor Gamec stated that he would not conduct a meeting any other way, that
he will let the citizens have their say.

Mr. Kenneth Peterson replied that the word is'out that if you bring enough
support with you to Council meetings, you can influence Council's decision.

Mayor Gamec replied that if that is so, then the wrong people were voted
into Council and that can be changed at the next election. Mayor Gamec
also reiterated that the filtering process the Planning and Zoning Commission
puts a developer through is very helpful.

Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteber§
to adjourn the special Council Meeting.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Schlueter,
Van Wagner and Reimann.
