Peterson 7531 - 152nd Avenue NW Ramsey, Minnesota 55303 RE: Conditional Use Permit for Mr. Thomas Nedry I I I I I I I I I il I I Dear Mr and Mrs. Peterson: · ~ The City of Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission has asked that I write to you in regards to Mr. Nedry's conditional use permit request .as well as the other concerns you expressed in the letter you sub- mitred in regards to his request. First of all, they wanted you to know that they have ~ecom~ended to {he City Council that Mr. Nedry's request be approved. This issue _ will be addressed by the City Council at their regular meeting of :May 24, 1983. Secondly, they wanted you to know that anyone that has a conditional ..use permit to operate a business in a residential zone does pay taxes at a commercial rate for that portion of the residential property that is used as a part of that business. The other item that you expressed a concern with was the parking of trucks on or near the residential streets'. We would like you to know that we are aware of this problem and have been called on it several times. However, due to a technlcallty in the wordin~ of the ordinance,'- we have been unable to halt this practice. We will however, be changing the ordinance in the near future so we can address this problem.
