However, prior to your request <br />for refund, there had been some costs involved in regards to <br />the public hearing. Listed below are the costs and their <br />explanation that were deducted from the Original permit fee <br />of $50.00: <br /> <br />a) Staff time for preparation of $ 5.50 <br /> hearing notice, notifying <br /> residents, etc. <br /> <br />b) Postage for original public 9.20 <br /> hearing notice and notice of <br /> cancellation <br /> <br />Total deductions $14.70 <br /> <br />A check in the amount of $35.30 is enclosed. <br /> <br />Also, it was noted by the Council that you are in violation of <br />the City Code by operating a business in a residential zone. <br />Continuation of this violation is a misdemeanor and subject to <br />penalties thereof.
