shall be abandoned only in compliance with State Board of Health Regulations. <br /> <br />Mr. Clayton Berg stated that State Plumbing Regulation is total physical <br />separation between private well and municipal sewer and it is allowable to <br />retain private well for such purposes as watering grass, drinking water. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that Council can either adopt the proposed utility ordinance <br />now or table for further work. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle suggested polling Councilmembers to make sure all are in favor <br />of changes discussed tonight. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that members were polled as each item was discussed and <br />inquired if all Councilmembers were in agreement regarding the last item <br />discussed, abandoning private wells. <br /> <br />Council is in agreement. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that the proposed motion contained in the agenda refers to <br />passage of the ordinances, if Council chooses, and publishing of that ordinance. <br />City now has the ability to publish ordinances in summary form rather than in <br />it!s entire form. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />adopt Ordinance #83-4 amending Chapter 170.03 entitled Subdivision Sections <br />179.039 - 170.0316 of the City Code. It is further directed that this ordinance <br />be published in the official newspaper, the Anoka County Union. (Please refer <br />to ordinance file for Ordinance Amendment #83-4). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner.
