The agreement was drafted for the Rum River Watershed using the previously presented agreements as models. Minor changes were recommended by the members attending the meeting. Marked up copies were sent to the member communities not in attendance. We discussed the boundary of the Rum River Watershed along Coon Creek Watershed as follows: t. Ha'm Lake, for example, wondered if they could join Coon Creek because of the small amount of land in the Rum River Watershed. 2. St. Francis is wondering if the 40 acres they have could be left out of the Rum River Watershed completely. We plan to meet with the Coon Creek Watershed District on June 13, 1983 at 8:00 to discuss the boundaries. The engineers are to meet with Harold Israelson, the Coon Creek Watershed engineer, before June 13th. The next scheduled meeting of the Rum River Watershed after the June 13th meeting with the Coon Creek Watershed District will be on June 23, 1983 at 7:30 P.M. at the Andover City Hall. At that time, every city should have approved the joint powers agreement, or if they have problems with the agreement, notify Jim Schrantz, Andover, so he can advise the other members and the problem can be worked out before June 23, 1883. On June 23, 1983 the members should start establishing an organization, propose a budget, prepare to appoint a RRWD member to take the place of the Council representati~ if they choose.
