CITY OF ANOKA <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1983-712 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A JOINT POWERS <br /> AGREEMBNT FOR METHANE BXTRACATION <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF THH CITY OF ANOKA ORDAINS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. The Council of the City of Anoka hereby <br />authorizes the City of Anoka to enter into a' joint powers <br />agreement between the County of. Anoka, the City of Ramsey, and <br />the City of Anoka, for the purposes of development of a pilot <br />project in the Ramsey Landfill site to convert methane gas into <br />energy which may be utilized for industrial expansion. Said <br />joint powers agreement shall be in the form approved by the <br />Council in conjunction with the passage of this ordinance and the <br />City Manager and the Mayor are hereby authorized to sign said <br />joint powers agreement on behalf of the City of. Anoka. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2.
