I I I I I I I I I I I TO: Mayor and Councilmembers FROM: City Administrator RE: Council New Business Enclosure (D3-a) (D3-b) (D3-c) (D3-d) (D3-e) Information regarding conditional use permit request by the Faith Baptist Church of Ramsey Letter from the An'oka Fire Department requesting a temporary beer and bingo license Letter from Mr. Jack Menkveld regarding his resignation from the Economic Development Commission Community school's midyear billing List of bills for approval for the month of June 1983 and proposed resolution CASE #1: REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND SITE AND DESIGN PLAN APPROVAL; CASE OF FAITH BAPTIST CHURCH OF RAMSEY: I I I I I I I I The Faith Baptist Church of Ramsey is requesting a conditional use permit and site and design approval for a church in an R-I, Residential, zone. The proposed site is about 5.5 acres in size and is located at the southwesterly corner of the intersection of Sunfish Lake Blvd. NW and Nowthen Blvd. NW. With the exception of the potential traffic problem, which has been reviewed by the Anoka County Highway Department, we don't see any problem with the location of the church at this site. Accordingly, the following items are included as enclosure (D3-a) for your consideration: a) Application b) Area location map c) List of properties notified d) Public hearing notice e) Proposed findings of fact f) Building Official's letters to Reverend Reed g) Excerpts of Planning and Zoning Commission meeting minutes dated June 7, 1983 The site plan and building plans will be available at the meeting. Council Action: Your action in this matter will be to adopt/amend/ deny the findings of fact as well as approve/disapprove of the request.
