TO: City Administrator/Clerk <br /> <br />FROM: Deputy Clerk <br /> <br />RE: Typewriter Costs <br /> <br />DATE: June 21, 1983 <br /> <br />The following are the prices I have been able to obtain today on new/used <br />typewriter costs: <br /> <br />Wa~er's, Hopkins, Minnesota (Used/New Typewriters) <br /> <br />Used <br /> <br />IBM Selectric I - $400.00 (This would be a step down from <br /> what we are used to i.e., correct- <br /> ing feature, different type ribbons, <br /> etc.) <br /> <br />New <br /> <br />Adler 1005 - $828.00 (This would be similar to Olivetti ET121 <br /> we presently have in the office.) <br /> <br />IBM Corporation - (New Typewriter) <br /> <br />Selec~ric III 6705 - $828.00 - They do not handle used type- <br /> writers. <br /> <br />United Business Machines <br /> <br />Used <br /> <br />They have two"used electronic typewriters at this time but <br />advised us not to consider them as it would be difficult for <br />us to have them serviced. They had no other used typewriters <br />at this time. <br /> <br />New <br /> <br />Olivetti ET121 Demo - $700.00 (This would be just like we <br /> presently have in the office.) <br /> <br />Olivetti ET121 New - $800.00 (This would be just like we <br /> presently have in the office.) <br /> <br /> <br />
