I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />zl <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />CHARTER COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey Charter Commission was held on Thursday, <br />June 9, 1983 at 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairman Gary Heitman <br />Commissioner Dick Sieber <br />Commissioner Roger Buchanan <br />Commissioner Brenda Bauerkemper <br />Commissioner Tom Greenberg <br />Commissioner John Lichter <br />Commissioner Tom Gamec <br />Commissioner Stan Data <br />Commissioner Curt Titterud <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Bill Dorn, Attorney <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Heitman called the regular Charter Commission meeting to order at <br />7:34 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Gamec and seconded by Commissioner Lichter to approve <br />Charter Commission meeting minutes dated June 2, 1983. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Heitman, Commissioners Sieber, Buchanan, <br />Bauerkemper, Greenberg, Lichter, Gamec, Data and Titterud. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />A. ~ud~et Committee - Commissioner Gamec <br /> <br />Commissioner Gamec stated that a proposed budget will be available for review <br />at the next regular Charter Commission meeting. He further commented that <br />an election regarding the Charter will be charged back to the Charter Commission. <br /> <br />Commissioner Bauerkemper stated that she has contacted Lino Lakes and they <br />informed her that their Charter Commission operated within the $1500 but that <br />they did not retain legal services and their election was charged back to their <br />Charter Commission budget. <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner was present at the meeting and inquired as to where <br />Charter Commission funds would be coming from. <br /> <br />Commissioner Gamec replied that Charter Commission funds allocation will be <br />determined by the City Accountant. <br /> <br />B.
