I RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING BUDGET CALENDAR REGARDING REVENUE SHARING AND CITY BUDGET I '- - ~{EREAS, the United States Federal code established certain buidelines that municipalities must follow in preparing budgets that include allocations for Federal Revenue Sharing Funds; and I WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota Statutes establishes certain guidelines in regards to the last date State governmental units may submit tax levies to their respective counties. I NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RJkMSEY, ANOKA COUNt, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: I 1) Ge following budget calendar has been established to comply with Federal and State Laws: I August 1~"~" Publish Notice of "Proposed Use '. -, . . - Hearing" for Revenue Sharing Funds. Regular Council Meeting. 7: 00pm August 30 Hold Budget Committee meeting for I ' ' final approval of 1984 budget prior to presenting to full council. I September 2 Publish Notice of "Budget Hearing" for R~venue Sharing Funds. This notice must be published 10 days prior to the hearing, and the budget document must be available I for inspection at least t0 days before I /September 9 B~dget presented to full council~ ~ their reviewal. Must be at least 7 days ~ after the Proposed Use Hearing for I ~ et Hearing" for Revenue.
