Hakanson
Anderson
Main Office:
3601 Thurston Avenue, Anoka, MN 55303
Phone: 763/427-5860 Fax: 763/427-0520
www.haa-inc.com
35
November 11, 2011
Tim Hiinmer, PE
City Engineer
City of Ramsey
7550 Sunwood Drive
Ramsey, MN 55303
RE: City of Ramsey
Various Stormwater Issues Analysis
Dear Mr. Himmer•
We are excited for the potential to perform consulting services for the City of Ramsey and
thankful for your request for proposal on the above referenced project.
We have divided the stormwater issues into five (5) sites; generally, all five sites have similar
scopes of work but vary in size, complexity and issues.
Our approach will be to send Tim Eggerichs, the Design Engineer, with a Survey Crew Chief to
ensure collection of appropriate data at each site. That information will be compiled along with
overlays of contours, as-builts, and aerial photography.
Tim will prepare stormwater models and process several options and several rainfall events for
each site. The best solutions will be determined, taking into account logistics, costs and overall
benefit.
After the Ilakanson Anderson staff has reviewed and approved the options they will be sent to
the Ramsey city engineers for their concurrence.
At that point, each viable alternative will have a description, overview drawing and cost estimate
associated with it so the Ramsey City Engineer's office can present it to the City Council and.
ultimately the affected property owners.
The following is Hakanson Anderson's not -to -exceed cost for each site and the lump sum for all
five sites.
Site 1— Sodium Street
Not -to -Exceed Cost = $ 2,000.00
Site 2 — Ruin River Hills Golf Course
Not -to -Exceed Cost = $ 7,560.00
