Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #16-03-051 <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE A PUBLIC WORKS STREETS MAINTENANCE <br />WORKER <br />WHEREAS, as per the adopted budget and City goals, staff conducted a <br />recruitment for a fulltime Streets Maintenance Worker; and <br />WHEREAS, an internal recruitment process was conducted; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Sarah Wiener has been selected as the top candidate for the <br />position; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has completed the necessary background checks and is <br />recommending that Ms. Sarah Wiener be hired as a fulltime Streets Maintenance Worker <br />at $20.72 per hour; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Wiener will be subject to the City's Personnel Policy and/or <br />union contracts. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />Motion to adopt resolution #16-03-051 to hire Ms. Sarah Wiener as a fulltime <br />Streets Maintenance Worker, effective on or near April 4, 2016, at $20.72 per <br />hour which is step 1 of the 2016 wage scale. <br />The motion for the adoption of the 'foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 8t1i day of March, 2016. <br />
