Councilmember Williams introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #16-02-042 <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING EXTENSION TO PURCHASE AGREEMENT AND <br />DENYING EXTENSION OF DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR HARVEST <br />ESTATES <br />WHERAS, on January 14, 2015, the City of Ramsey ("City") executed a purchase <br />agreement with NIK Management, Inc. ("Purchase Agreement") for the following real property: <br />Lots 1-33 (inclusive) and Outlot A, HARVEST ESTATES, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota <br />(the "Subject Property") <br />WHEREAS, on March 9, 2015, NIK Management, Inc. assigned said purchase <br />agreement to G S Land, LLC ("Developer"); and <br />WHEREAS, on June 16, 2015, the City executed a development agreement for the first <br />phase of Harvest Estates with G S Land, LLC ("Development Agreement"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Development Agreement allows the Developer until August 31, 2015 to <br />commence with the second phase of Harvest Estates or construct an interim cul-de-sac as <br />indicated on the approved Final Plat documents approved by the City; and <br />WHEREAS, on the Developer has requested a one (1) year extension to both <br />agreements; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY , STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants and extension to the Purchase <br />Agreement to July 31, 2017 an extension to the Development Agreement to <br />August 31, 2017 and authorizes the Mayor and City Administrator to execute the <br />necessary documents. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Riley, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Strommen <br />Councilmember Williams <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Johns <br />Councilmember LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Shryock <br />
