I i I As stated in your letter mentioned above (enclosure #1), your records show that the City of Ramsey satisfied the audit requirements of the Revenue Sharing Act with reports submitted for the fiscal year ended 12/31/78. This date is incorrect,.'the audit report submitted was for the year ended 12/31/79. A copy of this audit is enclosed (enclosure #2) and clearly states that the audit was for the year ended December 31, 1979. Also enclosed is a copy of your letter dated June 8, 1981 (enclosure #3) stating that you did in fact receive the audit for the period ending 12/31/79, and noting some items of non- compliance. Enclosure #4 is the City of Ramseys response to the items of non-complinace, noting the documentation sent in at that time. Our final enclosure (enclosure #5) is your letter dated July 29, 1981 stat. ing that the City of Ramsey substantially complied with the provisions of Subpart B. As you can see by our documentation and the letters received from your office, the date of the last Revenue Sharing audit was for the fiscal year ended 12/31/79, therefore we are not required to sumbit another audit until the year ended 12/31/82. This scheduled audit coincides with the schedule set up by our audit firm of Deloitte, Haskins and Sells. If you should have any further questions regarding this matter please feel free to call.
