He also <br />stated that all lots are within 5 square feet of 1 acre, including the road <br />right-of-way. Soil borings are being performed but are not complete at this <br />time. Road access will be between lots 1 and 2 and lots 3 and 4. He <br />stated that he was not aware grading plans were required by ordinance. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg - There should be some action recommending approval of two driveways. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Dunn and seconded by Commissioner Isaakson to recommend <br />City Council approve the preliminary plat of Ramsey Commons as presented <br />subject to completion of Items 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8 as per City Engineer <br />Raatikka's letter to Mr. Kenneth Peterson dated April 30, 1982. Further, <br />that the City allow a variance from Item #5 (regarding subdivision) and <br />Item #6 (as recommended in the letter from William Sironen, Design Engineer, <br />Anoka County, to Mr. Lloyd Schnelle, City Administrator dated April 5, 1982). <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mr. Deemer - Regarding variance to Item #5, it should <br />be noted that we recommend allowing a variance to the subdivision plan but <br />not to the I acre density requirement as stated in the City's Comprehensive <br />Plan. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Dunn, La Due, <br />Isaakson and Schneider. Voting No: Commissioner Deemer, on the basis that <br />he does not agree with approving platting with this many deficiencies in <br />engineering detail. Absent: Commissioner Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Mr. Dunn - The motion is to approve contingent upon completion of engineering <br />oversites. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Schneider to adjourn <br />the Planning and Zoning Meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
