b) <br /> <br />Mr. Randy Norcross regarding the placing of driveway on Variolite <br />Street (thoroughfare street) to his residence - Mr. Norcross has <br />placed his driveway on Variolite Street which is in violation of <br />the City Code. He feels he is being unreasonably treated by the <br />City. <br /> <br />Enclosure (D3-a) contains the following documentation that the <br />City has on this case with Mr. Norcross: <br /> <br /> Inspection report of Building Official states individual <br /> was notified of driveway violation. <br />2) Certificate of occupancy report indicates individual was <br /> notified of driveway violation. <br />3) Building Official's letter dated August 10, 1982 to Mr. <br /> Randy Norcross regarding driveway violation. <br />4) Memo from Building Official to City Attorney about Mr. <br /> Norcross' driveway violation. <br />5) Mr. Norcross' letter dated August 16, 1982 to City Admin- <br /> istrator with sketch showing his problem. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Comments: In order to allow Mr. Norcross to retain his present <br />driveway on Variolite Street will require Council grant a variance <br />from the City Code. However, this is being placed on the agenda <br />to inform you that the City will take appropriate legal action on <br />this case as it stands now. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I have informed Mr. Norcross that this would be on the agenda' for <br />informational purposes. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action may be to only note that you have <br />been informed of the violation and of the City's pending action on <br />this case. If you take action it will be to grant a variance to <br />him. <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />Mrs. Richard Tweed regarding vehicles in yard - As you are aware, <br />we received a complaint about the Tweed residence in regards to <br />all the vehicles. The City informed them by letter of their <br />violation of the City Code. Mrs. Tweed came in to see me about <br />it and at that time I directed her to put her request in writing. <br /> <br />Accordingly, I have enclosed her letter ih which.~she.,States the <br />vehicles will only be there temporarily until they get them sold. <br />Please refer to enclosure (D3-b) for Mrs. Tweed's letter. <br /> <br />Comments: I think Council should set some very definite parameters <br />for Mrs. Tweed in the time factor if she is to dispose of <br />this equipment at their residence. <br /> <br /> Council Action: Your action will be to note that you have been <br /> informed of this situation. If you take this action it will mean <br />. that she ~will have an indefinite time period. / ~_ <br /> <br /> <br />
