PROCEEDINGS OF THE AD HOC CO~ITTEE <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ad Hoc Committee met at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen <br />Blvd NW, Ramsey, Minnesota for the purpose of organizing the committee. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Art Durra, P&Z Member ' <br />John Lichter, P&R Member · <br />Robert Isaakson, P&Z Member. <br />Jack Menkveld, EDC Member · <br />Bill Miller, EDC Member <br />Darryl Fults, EDC Member · <br />Lloyd Schnelle, City Administrator' <br />Pete Raatikka, City Engineer' <br />Clayton Berg, City Building Official. <br />Merle Mevissen, City Street Supt. <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />A1 Sorteberg, City Council Member' <br />Gary Reimann, City Council Member' <br /> <br />A~nin~strator Schnelle called the meeting to order at 7:35 P.M. and then <br />appointed Art Dunn to be acting chairman of the meeting. <br /> <br />CO~I TTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #] - Ad Hoc Committee Organization: <br /> <br />Motion by John Lichter, seconded by Bill Miller to appoint A1 Sorteberg <br />Ad Hoc Committee chairman. Jack Menkveld closed the nominations. Motion <br />carried. Ail ayes. <br /> <br />Motion by Robert Isaakson, seconded by ~.h~_2~i~hter to appoint Art Durm <br />A1 Hoc Oomm~ttee Vice Chairman. Darryl Fults closed the nominations. Motion <br />carried. Ail ayes. <br /> <br />Discussion on meeting dates of committee. The meeting time and date will <br />be the 3rd ~onday of each month ~ 7:00 P.M. Any info can then be forwarded <br />to the Council meeting. <br /> <br />Case #2 - Develop Proposed Policy Regarding Public Improvements: <br /> <br />Adm. Schnelle addressed setting a proposed policy regarding financing of <br />public utilities, storm sewer and streets. <br /> <br />Question raised by Robert Isaakson how other cities handle assessment policies, <br />that being the reason subcommittees are formed to research background to study <br />issues. He also stated Ramsey being in a unique position where water and sewer <br />not instantl~ here, so there is time to study policies. <br /> <br />Jack Menkveld volunteered to be on committee for assessing public improvements. <br /> <br />Adm.
