Lusher, Chief Administrator <br />Metropolitan Waste Control Commission <br />350 Metro Square Building <br />7th and Robert Streets <br />St. Paul, MN S5101 <br /> <br />RE: City of Ramsey <br /> Comprehensive Sewer Plan <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Lusher: <br /> <br />In response to your letter dated July 8, 1982, the City of Ramsey <br />]]as adopted its Waste Management Section of its Comprehensive Plan <br />as its Comprehensive Sewer Plan as indicated in the enclosed resolu- <br />tion. In addition, the City has made the minor changes to its Waste <br />Management Section of the Comprehensive Plan as required in your <br />letter of April 23, 1982 to Mr. Charles Weaver, Chairman of the Metro <br />Council. These revisions are also enclosed with this letter. <br /> <br />In response to your question if licensing of septic tank pumpers is <br />required, the answer is yes as indicated on page 7110 of the Compre- <br />hensive Plan. The City also keeps records on permits for on-site <br />systems, pumping of septage, and a list of installers and pumpers <br />who serve the City. These records will be made available to the <br />MWCC at your request. <br /> <br />Upon receipt and approval of the City's Comprehensive Sewer Plan, <br />the City requests that the MWCC include in its 1982-1986 Development <br />Program and its Capital Improvements Program, a project to add a <br />second or east interceptor connection to the City of Ramsey as stated <br />on page 50 of the Metropolitan Council's 1981 Water Resources Manage- <br />ment Development Guide. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Gary R.
