VOLUNTEER FOR MINNESOTA <br />Kick-Off Conference <br />A Project for Develol:Jlng Public/Private <br />Partnerships in Communities <br />The first statewide program in the nation designed to <br />help communities get the most out of citizen <br />participation will be introduced at this conference. <br />Focusing on the development of public/private <br />partnerships, national and state overviews will be <br />presented. Workshops, to give the participants the <br />tools to begin developing self-sustaining and active <br />partnerships, will be held. <br />The processes of assessing needs and priorities; <br />coalition building; exploring optional resources, <br />including volunteers; and the management of <br />volunteers will be covered. <br />All community leaders are urged to attend.
