Three alternatives are as follows: 1. 100 percent use of Municipal State Aid Funds. 2. i00 percent assessment to adjacent property owners. e Assess $2,000.00 to each adjacent buildable parcel of land and use city funds or resources to construct or pay for the remaining portion of the project. Alternative one would require construction of the street to M.S.A.S. Standards which was estimated to cost $65,000.00 as stated in my attached letter dated April 20, 1982. With this alternate, the City would have to return a portion of the M.S.A.S. funds spent on this road in the event it was deleted from the M.S.A.S. system. Alternatives two and three could be built to the City's Standards which was estimated to cost $35,000.00. With a 100 percent assessment, the unit cost to the three existing units south of 167th Avenue and the four proposed ten-acre units north of 167th Avenue would be $5,000.00. It is also very likely that the future units would be under Green Acres. Under Alternative three, if the right of way was donated and the City completed the grading, an assessment of $2,000.00 over the seven units would provide adequate funds for the gravel and the bituminous. civil · mum'cipal a planning · soils · land surveying
