The station
numbers are noted on the enclosed Compaction Control Report for the
location of the tests. Tests numbered 3 to 11 met project specifications
for compaction to at least 100% of the maximum Standard Proctor dry
density, ASTM D-698.

Three field density tests were performed for backfill that has been
recompacted over the gas main. The fill was very fine sand, little silt.
These tests were performed between stations 54+00 to 58+00. The field
density tests performed indicated that the backfill was compacted to
project specifications of at least 100% of ASTM D-698 maximum dry density.

The location of the tests were determined by Mr. Steve Rugroden.
