We believe that it w/il result in our ability to provide you with the data, the analysis, and the presentation for the testimony you wish to use in support of the position of the City of Ramsey. l.le have p[eviously provided you witb the background and qualifications of our personnel. In carrying out the proposed workplan, we would not proceed beyond Phase I or Phase II until specifically authorized and only after completion of the preceding phase. We will provide you with hour and fee data weekly to better allow you to monitor our work aod progress. Our work could be terminated at any time with the cost limited to fees for our accumulated hours. Our fee estimate is summarized as. follows: Phase I Phase II Phase III $ 4,600 - $ 6,900 6,900 - 9,2O0 Total Our estimate does not include the time for oral testimony or cross examinations and the related attorney briefings. These would be .billed at our normal hourly rates. The hours and fees provided are only est/mates; our charges would be bill_ed ,at our normal hourly rates. More refined estimates or a fixed fee cannot be ascertained at this time due to the many unknown factors and our need to adjust to them. OCT 1 5
