He
further stated that Ramsey's Ordinance does not allow for discharging of guns
within 500 yards of a structure and that he had hunters this past week--end
who were practically in his back yard. Commissioner Deemer stated that there
were hunters on Sunfish Lake which falls in the restricted area.

Commissioner Zimmerman stated that regardless of what the law is, there will
always be those who spoil the rights for someone else.

Mayor Gamec, who happened to be present at the time, stated that problems
with hunters have decreased over the years. He also stated that there are
a couple of places on Sunfish Lake where persons do live and they are allowed
to hunt on their own property. There are also a couple of property owners on
Sunfish Blvd. that allow hunting on their property, with the owners permission.

Commissioner Deemer stated that he doesn't want to change the ordinance, that
it should be consistent with that of the State or enforced according to Ramsey's
ordinance.

Mayor Gamec stated that Mr. Deemer could notify the Ramsey Chief of Police and
he in turn could notify the Anoka Police Dept. of Ramsey's Gun Ordinance.

CITIZEN IN-PUT

I
I
I
I
I
!

Ed Reinke - 8059 154th Avenue - Mr. Reinke is requesting a special use permit
to operate a business from his home and park two dump trucks on his property.
He also stated that the permit would be temporary, as he expects to locate
in a commercial shop by April of 1983.
