Contingency Fund is money set aside for full and part-time wages, FICA, hospitilization, workman's con~, etc. and further, that a lot of questions pertaining to Contingency Fund will be answered after the Personnel Meeting. Mayor Gamec stated that an employee that does well should be paid accordingly. That it is more costly for the City to train new employees. Councilmember Cox arrived. Councilmember Cox stated that he would prefer a little more time to review the budget and it could be approved at the Regular Council Meeting scheduled for September 28, 1982. Mr. Schnelle stated that Council should be cognizant that in 1983 the City Will be picking up a $9800 to $10,000 assessment for the Federal Cartridge property. MISCELLANEOUS Councilmember Cox stated that he is sending a letter to County Commissioner Ed Fields in regards to the irregularities in the way the matter of the landfill has ~een handled. Councilmember Cox wanted to know if any of the Councilmembers had any objections to him sending this letter on City Letter- head. Mayor Gamec stated that Council had no problems with that, that letters from a City Official should be on City Letterhead. Councilmember Cox then read his proposed letter to Ed Fields aloud to the Council. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to adjourn the special Council Meeting. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Reimann, Cox and Sorteber~. Voting No: None. The Special Council Meeting adjourned at 8:35 P.M.
