City Administrator Ulrich suggested changing the language of the question to reflect that the <br />City does have a policy in place and simply ask their opinion of those options should a change be <br />made in the future. <br />Councilmember Shryock agreed that the information would be helpful and supported changing <br />the language of the question. <br />Councilmember Kuzma agreed with the comments of City Administrator Ulrich in regard to <br />changing the language and stated that he could then support the question if that language is <br />changed. <br />Councilmember Williams referenced the question regarding the nuisance .ordinance and <br />permitting process and asked if additional language could be added to make the question more <br />robust. <br />Asst. City Administrator/Economic Development Manager Brama agreed that he could add <br />additional language to that question, noting that an updated draft of the questions would be <br />available at the next Council meeting. <br />7.06: Consider Adoption of Resolution #16-03-043 Amending 2015 General Fund Budget <br />Finance Director Lund reviewed the staff report and recommendation to approve Resolution #16- <br />03-043 amending the 2015 General Fund Budget, as the activity has already occurred for the <br />year 2015. <br />Motion by Councilmember Kuzma, seconded by Councilmember Williams, to Adopt Resolution <br />#16-03-043 Authorizing 2015 Final Budget Amendment for the Purpose of Amending the City's <br />General Fund Budget. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor Pro Tem Riley, Councilmembers Kuzma, Williams, <br />Johns, and Shryock. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Strommen and Councilmember <br />LeTourneau. <br />8. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br />City Administrator Ulrich announced upcoming meetings and events. <br />Community Development Director Gladhill provided an update on recent community <br />development activity. He reported that in regard to land use, Lennar Homes will begin a second <br />phase of construction this summer that will add 15 homes. He also advised of a development <br />from D.R. Horton that will create 77 townhome units in The COR. He provided an update on the <br />upcoming planning workshop activity. He noted that staff is also working with two local <br />businesses in regard to possible expansions. of their locations. He advised that the City of Anoka <br />is planning to facilitate the development for Riverplace Counseling Center to the east of the <br />Ramsey border, where the mobile home community had previously resided, noting that Ramsey <br />residents would be kept in the loop and would be given an opportunity to provide input on that <br />City Council / March 8, 2016 <br />Page 7 of 8 <br />
