The proposed buffer zone covers an area of 141 acres, which is all <br />zoned industrial. <br /> <br />Based on the sanitary sewer and watermain costs shown in a "Feasibility Report <br />for Trunk Sanitary Sewer and Public Water Facilities for the 1983 Urban Area, <br />City of Ramsey, MinnesOta'' dated July, 1982, and on the storm sewer costs shown <br />in the City's ComP~eheHsive Sewer Plan, the proposed assessments for the buffer <br />zone are estimated as follows: <br /> <br /> Proposed Assessments <br /> Water Source and Storage $ 505,680 <br /> Water Trunk 59,079 <br /> Sanitary Sewer Trunk 247,744 <br /> Sanitary Sewer Subtrunk 71,346 <br /> Storm Drain Trunk 313,302 <br /> <br />Total Proposed Assessments $1,197,151 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The above proposed assessments do not include any costs for laterals, s~nce these <br />costs will vary with the type of development. <br /> <br />i <br />I <br /> <br />Based on the City's proposed policy of not assessing an area until sewer sub- <br />trunks or watermain trunks are extended to the area, the City may be financing <br />the water source and storage cost of $505,680 and the sanitary sewer trunk cost <br />of $247,744 for an interim period. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />ci~,il · municipal · planning · soils · land surveying <br /> <br /> <br />
