Federal <br />Cartridge ~eg~rdin9 Park Land): <br /> <br />a) Acceptance of Resignation of Mr. Darrell Jensen from the Economic <br /> <br />Development Commission - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to present <br />Mr. Darrell Jensen with a plaque and letter of appreciation. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />b) ~r. Richa~r_d_Buc~it__e regarding Workers' Compensation - <br /> <br />Council noted letter from R.A. Llewellyn, Asst. Claim Manager to William R. <br />Howard, Assistant Commissioner of Insurance dated September 14, 1982. <br /> <br />c) Federal Cartridge Regarding Park Land - <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that Federal Cartridge is requesting a resolution from <br />'the City of Ramsey stating how we plan to develop and finance the park land <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann authorizing <br />City Staff to prepare a resolution stating to Federal Cartridge Ramsey's <br />development and financial plan for park land. Further, that said resolution <br />be available for Mayor and Council signature and adoption on November 3, <br />1982. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he has been contacted by Eric Thompson and he would <br />like to continue to rent the unused portion of Federal Cartridge park land <br />for farming purposes. He stated that Mr. Thompson also agrees that if any <br />damage is caused to his crops by park development, he will not hold the <br />City responsible. <br /> <br />Council agrees there is no problem in Mr. Thompson continuing to r6nt the unused <br />farmland and requested Mr. Schnelle to draw up an agreement to be entered <br />into by the City of Ramsey and Mr. Eric Thompson at the rate of $12.00/acre. <br /> <br />Case #5: Bills For Approval: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann, for <br />discussion, to adopt Resolution #82-156 which authorizes the paying of bills <br />for the City of Ramsey in the amount of $203,810.87. (Please refer to <br />resolution file for Resolution #82-156 and a certified copy of the bills <br />authorized for Council payment.) <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Reimann was informed that the $400 for <br />cleaning of City Hall included upper and lower level.
