CITY OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA November 17, ]982 Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. The City has decided to change the contract time to the contract for this project: Proposed Change: It is proposed to add 20 calendar days to the contract time on this project. Furthermore, it is proposed that November ll, 1982, be considered as the last day of work (suspension date) for 1982 due to the weather conditions. Therefore, based on the original completion date of November 4, 1982 and six suitable working days between that date and the suspension date, the contractor shall be given 14 additional days next spring. The revised completion date shall be determined next spring following'the notice to resume work. In addition to the revised completion time, the contractor shall be responsible for all maintenance required on the project due to the uncompleted work. Necessity for Chan~e Order No. 4: In accordance with the Article 23 of the General Conditions to the contract documents all changes in contract time shall be incorporated in a change order. Article 23.2 also states that the'contract will be extended in an amount equal to time lost due to delays beyond the control of the contractor which includes ab- normal weather conditions. In the case of Improvement Project 82-1 there were twenty (20) days which were unworkable due to unfavorable weather conditions. These days are as follows: Rain Days August 16, 24, 26, 31, 1982 - 4 days September l, 9, 10, 15, 16, 1982 - 5.days October 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 14, 19, 20, 27, 1982 - l0 days November 3, 1982 -..1. day Total Days 20 The contract Period Provided for Completion Will Be (Increased) (Dea~ea~eN) (~cMa~§e~) by 20 days.
