This <br />grant proposes to provide a grant and/or low interest loan to a business <br />which would utilize the methane gas produced at the Anoka I~ndfill. -At <br />i~,~.'esent we understand that Waltek is developing plans for their potential <br />expansion and may be able to utilize this methane gas in either its raw or <br />l~rocessed form. <br /> <br />We have received a favorable review on this grant and are optomistic about <br />our chances for approval. If selected we will negotiate the te_~ms of this <br />assistance with the Company directly. We have not received formal approval <br />at this time but expect to hear the final decision within two weeks. <br /> <br />As the City Manager of the affected city, it is imperative that you are in- <br />formed of actions which could affect this project. I will see that you are <br />kept up to date on actions relative to this grant, and subsequent negotiations. <br /> <br />Please keep this information, confidential until such time as more definite <br />answers are available.
