I I Counc~lmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #82-159 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT FOR STREET CONSTRUCTION WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Counil, City of Ramsey adopted the ~ following resolution approving the gollowing street project in the City of Ramsey: Resolution #82-31 adopted March 23, 1982 for M.S.A.S. Project #82-1 and; ~EREAS, the Ramsey City Council, City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #82-97 awarding the bid to U.D. Contracting for the construction of Project #82-1 and; WHEREAS, City Engineer Mr. Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson, Inc., recommended partial payment in his letter dated November 22, 1982, for the Project #82-1 in the amount of $60,180.75. NOW TEHREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE RAMSEY CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as' follows: 1) That the City Council, City of Ramsey hereby authorizes . partial payment to U.D. Contracting as per the City Engineer's letter dated November 22, 1982, for the Project #82-1 in the amount of $60,180.75. 2) That the Ramsey City Council, City of Ramsey hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution #82-. ._ adopted b~ the Ramsey City Council on November 23, 1982 approving payment of~ the bills for the month of November. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Counci]member Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor'thereof: Mayor Gamec, COuncilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox and the following voted against the same: None
