This will
then also allow me the opportunity to have accurate information as far as total con-
struction for the calendar year.

There have been two new housing starts since my last report but the construction
business is poor at best.

Most of my time for the past month has been spent either working on the utility
ordinance, planning and zoning or various variances for the City Council.

The modifications to the boiler were made so that it can now be cleaned. The cost
for the changes were only slightly more than half of what had been originally estimated.

After this work was done, Honeywell serviced and cleaned the units, one of which was
totally plugged and inoperable. I would also note that the leak problem appears to
have been finally solved.

Letters were sent to several individuals for various reasons. Copies of those are
included in Letters and Communications.

I did not meet with Mr. Edward Potter in regards to his violation of ordinances governing
the Rum River. He will be presenting the City Council with a letter as to how he pro-
poses to proceed.

I CRB:pDc
