Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cox, <br />Van Wagner,-,Sorteberg and Reimann. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: Blaine Midway Ail Pets, Inc. Regarding The Discontinuing <br /> Of Animal Control Service: <br /> <br />Council noted letter ~from Mr. Greg Wax of Blaine Midway.All~Pets,.~ <br />Inc. <br /> <br />Case #3: Closing Of City Hall On November 26, 1982 (Friday After <br /> <br />Thanksgi¥~ng): <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember <br />Cox to authorize the closing of the City Hall Administrative <br />Offices and the Public Works Department on November 26, 1982 <br />(Friday after Thanksgiving) providing all City employees affected <br />use a personal vacation day or earned comp time. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cox, <br />Sorteberg, Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4' Publishing Of A Ramsey Newspaper: <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner stated that she has been looking into <br />the feasibility of Ramsey publi'shing it's own newspaper and <br />that it does look favorable and that the fee charged for adver- <br />tising would pay for the printing and distribution of that <br />newspaper. <br /> <br />Council consensus is to direct Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />prepare a proposal for Council's approval regarding Ramsey <br />publishing a newspaper. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec suggested that it might be. best to continue to <br />publish certain items in the Anoka County Union also. <br /> <br />Case #5' Payment of Bills: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember <br />Van Wagner to adopt Resolution #82-161 authorizing the payment <br />of bills in the amount of $2Ol,568.14 (Please refer to <br />resolution file for Resolution #82-161). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cox, <br />Re,mann, Van Wagner. and Sorteberg. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case t/6' Establishing Policy On Uncollected Past Due Accounts <br /> <br /> Owed To The City Of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that a resolution will be available for <br />Council approval at their next meeting. <br /> <br /> C/November 23~ 1982 <br /> Page 18 of 21 <br /> <br /> <br />
