These <br />are the most critical of the zoning requirements. Airport zoning is a <br />prior requirement for state funding in airport maintenance or construction. <br /> <br />The second overlay shows Mn/DDT, Aeronautics' Division, recommendations <br />for land acquisition in the clear zones. For safety, we feel, as a <br />minimum, it is necessary to acquire property rights in the first 2000' <br />of the runway approach zones. <br /> <br />The third overla~ shows the height requirements for road and railroad <br />clearances. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />The three overlays used on the photo can be an aid in studying various <br />runway alignment proposals.
