I I I ,I I I I I I I I I I I I b) Appoint3hent of Audit Firm to Conduct 1982-Annual City Audit - Enclosure (D2-a) contains a letter dated July 15, 1982 from Deloitte, Haskins & Sells stating their maximum audit fee of $7,500 to do the City audit for 1982. Comments - I recommend that Council reappoint Deloitte, Haskins & Sells to do the City's 1982 audit because of their professional ability in the audit field. Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove, The following motion is hereby s~mitted for your consideration: Motion by ~,~ and seconded by to reappoint the firm of Deloitte, Haskins & Sells to conduct the 1982 annual audit of the City of Ramsey at a cost not to exceed $7,500 as per their letter dated~15, 1982. Motion carried. The City Accountant will be present to answer any questions you may have in regards.to this report. Council Action: Your action will be to only note that you have received and reviewed the above re~ort~' Cash Flow Report ~hrough June 30, 1982 - Enclosure (D2-b) contains the cash flow documents. The City Accountant will be present to answer any questions Council may have on this document. Council Action: Your action will be to note that have received you and reviewed the document. e) State Auditor's Report on Ramsey's Financial Health Program - Enclosure (D2~c) contains the State Auditor's Financial Health P~ofile Report on the City of Ramsey which shows Ramsey is doing extremely well considering how poorly the City does in State aids. The report showed Ramsey exceeding budget so consequently I request the City Accountant to report on that aspect of it. That report is also contained in the above enclosure. The City Accountant will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding it, Council Action: Your action will be to note that you have received and reviewed the above subject report. f) Minnesota Financial Health Program ~ Enclosure (D2-d) contains the City Accountant's memo to the City Administrator regarding financial health profile and State Auditor's Minnesota Financial Health Program. The State Auditor is forwarding this Financial Health Program to all Cities. This particular document allows a City to compare themselves to a City of similar size as to :how-..' they are doing financially. You have to be very careful when using this type of a document when comparing your City to another City.
