I I I I I I '1 I I ~ ~q introduced the following resolution and moved for its Co~ci lmember ~ adoption: ~ ,, SOnUTION #82- WHEREAS, the Minnesota State Legislature 1982 Session adopted Chapter 564 which act prohibited any metropolitan area County Auditor from transferring or dividing property unless the transfer or division is certified by the Clerk of the Municipality in which the property is located, said certification stating that the Municipality does not o~ject to the transfer or division; and WHEREAS, the said Chapter 564 provides that if the City does not object to the transfer or division within 24 hours of when the instrument is pre- sented to the City Clerk, the instrument %s deemed approved by the City; and WHEREAS, the said Chapter 564 requires that the City by resolution notify the County Aduitor of its decision to have Chapter 564 apply to property within its boundaries. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA OOUNTY~ STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City of Ramsey,.Anoka County~ State of Minnesota does hereby elect to have the provision of Chapter 564 Minnesota SesSion Laws 1982 apply to property within its boundaries, 2) That the Ramsey City Clerk is herebY directed to forward a certi,- lied copy of this resolution to the Anoka coUnty Auditor forthwith.
