NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br /> City of Ramsey <br />Anoka County, Minnesota <br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning and Zoning'Commission of the City of <br />Ramsey will conduct a public hearing on the 26th day of July, 1982 at 7:30 p.m. in <br />the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard <br />Northwest, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> The purpose of the bearing will be to review and consider certain amendments to <br />the City's zoning chapter, Chapter 170 of the City Code. 'The amendments to be <br />considered relate to mobile/manufactured homes and their placement in the City. The <br />Commission will consider the following relating to mobile/manufactured homes: <br /> <br />Design standards for dwellings in residential districts such as m~nimum <br />width, minimum square footage, siding material, roof lines, type of <br />foundation requirements and compatibility of new home to adjacent <br />properties so as not to adversely affect property values; and <br /> <br />2. Adopting of residential zoning district(s) in which only dwellings meeting <br /> the Uniform Building Code are permitted; and <br /> <br />3o <br /> <br />Adoption of residential zoning district(s) in which manufactured homes as <br />defined by state statute (not required by law to meet the Uniform Building <br />Code) are permitted as well as site built homes which meet the Uniform <br />Building Code, i.e., mixed district; and <br /> <br />0 <br /> <br />Amendment of the mobile home park districts to accommodate those mobile <br />homes unable to meet design standards in residential districts; and <br /> <br />Such other matters relating to mobile/manufactured homes as may come before <br />the Planning and Zoning Commission. . ~ <br /> <br /> Ail interested persons are invited to appear and speak regarding the above <br />matters.
