I I Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION ~82-95 RESOLUTION REGARDING THE SIGNALIZATION AT THE INTERSECTION OF TH #10 AND CSAH #56 (RAMSEY BOULEVARD) WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council received a letter from Mr. Dennis R. Eyler, P.E., Assistant Traffic Engineer, State of Minnesota, dated June 4, 1982, stating the Minnesota Highway Department is proposing to construct signalization at the intersection of TH #10 and CSAH #56 (Ramsey Blvd.); and WHEREAS, this signal system is scheduled for November 19, 1982 bid letter date; and WHEREAS, the proposed cost for the project will be funded as follows according to the above communication: a) 76% Federal primary funds b) 16% State Highway Department c) 4% Anoka County funds d) 4% Ramsey City funds e) City and County will be assessed 6% of their respective share for engineering and inspection costs and; WHEREAS, it is proposed that the City of Ramsey will responsible for the following signal maintenance costs: a) Painting b) Relamping. and cleaning of signal system c) Street light maintenance d) Flasher maintenance e) Power cost to operate flasher f) Signal and street light system and; WHEREAS, the State Highway Department will be responsible for the controller and hardware maintenance. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) To inform the State of Minnesota that the City of Ramsey approves of the proposed signalization at the intersection of TH #10 and CSAH #56 (-Ramsey Blvd.). Further, the City of Ramsey concurs with the proposed cost sharing of the construction and the proposed maintenanae cost sharing. 2) It is further directed that the City Accountant be furnished a copy of this resolution for 1983 budget purposed in budgeting for the above said costs
