The bid <br />of the lowest responsible bidder was 25.7% lower than the engineer's estimate. <br /> <br />The low bidder, U.D. Contracting, is a Brooklyn Park based contractor and has <br />satisfactorily completed, or is in the process of completin~work in the Cities of <br />Plymouth, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park and Coon Rapids. <br /> <br />We, therefore, recommend that the project be awarded to the low bidder for the bid <br />amount of $182,040.06. <br /> <br />civil · municipal · planning · soils · land surveying <br /> <br /> <br />
