I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br /> Lori Larson - 6530 170th - Inquired if the City was considering Klemish as <br /> the contractor for the project. <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec informed Mrs. Larson that any contractor has the right to bid. <br /> <br />Terry Pedersen - 17020 Yttrium - Inquired when the project will start and <br />when it will be completed. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka informed Mr. Pedersen that the project would start in July and <br />be completed by September. <br /> <br />Terry Parks - 6531 170th Inquired if the cost estimate is accurate. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec informed Mr. Parks that the estimates are generally 7%-8% high. <br />Mayor Gamec took a straw vote. <br /> <br /> Concerned residents Present: 19 <br /> In Favor: 17 <br /> Opposed: 2 <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec informed audience that action will be taken regarding this project <br />later in the evening when the special Council Meeting is called back to order. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox mentioned that May 18 is date for School Board Election and <br />the largest portion of our real estate taxes is for schools and further urged <br />citizens to get out and vote. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox also urged citizens to use Ramsey instead of Anoka on their <br />addresses. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox to adjourn <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Cox and Van Wagner.
