I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. !,!eboto stated that obviously the hobby farm located at the end of 177th <br />~,/as not included in the assessment and since 177th is the only access to the <br />farm, it is definitely a benefitted property. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox mentioned that if the owner of the hobby farm was not <br />included in the projected assessment, he therefore must not have been notified <br />of the public hearing. <br /> <br />Sue Stevenson - 8125 173rd - Inquired why she would be getting ½ assessment <br />with no access. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec informed Mrs. Stevenson that it is policy regarding corner lots. <br /> <br />Sherrie Thole - 17440 Gibbon St. - A great number of the names on the petition <br />in favor of this project are actually residents of Shawn Acres. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec reviewed the petition and stated that only two of the signatures <br />were from outside the Deerwood area. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec took a straw vote: <br /> <br />Concerned Residents Present: 8 <br /> <br />In Favor: 4 <br /> <br />Opposed: 4 <br /> <br />Motion by CounciImember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />adjourn the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Cox and Van Wagner.
