The signal system is scheduled for a November 19,
1982 letting date.

The proposed signal construction includes installing a permanent three-phase,
fully traffic actuated signal system. Overhead indications and pedestrian
facilities will be provided where appropriate. The signal will be inter-
connected with the signal at T.H. 10 and County Road 5~ In addition to the
signals, "Prepare to STOP" flashers will be provided for both directions on

It is proposed to fund this project with approximately 76 percent Federal
Primary Funds, 16 percent-State FllndS, 4 percent Anoka County Funds and 4
percent City of Ramsey Funds. The City and County will each be assessed an
additional 6 percent of their respective share for engineering and inspection
costs.

I
I

We also propose that the City of Ramsey'be responsible for the signal mainten-
ance of painting, relamping and cleaning of the signal system; street'light
maintenance; flasher maintenance; and power costs to operate the flashers,
signal and street light systems. The State will be responsible for the
controller and hardware maintenance.

Equal Oppo,'tunity Emliloyer
