I <br />Ii <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> <br /> I <br /> i <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />I <br />! <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF CiTY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held Wednesday, June 9, 1982 <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />Mr. Paul Ruud, Anoka County Engineer <br />Mr. Bud Redepenning, Asst. County Engineer <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec called the Special Council Meeting to order at 8:08 A.M. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to approve <br /> the agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Thomas Gamec, Councilmembers Cox, Van Wagner, <br />Sorteberg and Reimann. Voting No: None. <br /> <br /> CITIZEN INPUT: <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox inquired as to why the special Council meeting was called. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that the reason.for the special meeting was to settle the <br />matter of Mr. Duane Lee's driveway onto County Road #56. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox agreed to this but further stated that he and others did not <br />appreciate having to take time off from work to settle this matter. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Case #1: Driveway On Ramsey Blvd. NW Regarding Mr. Duane Lee, 7200 - 152nd <br /> Avenue NW: <br /> <br />Mr. Duane Lee and his attorney, Mr. Steve Thorson, were present at the meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec reviewed the history of Mr. Lee's second driveway onto County Rd. <br />#56 with those present at the meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Ruud stated that there are places in the County where the County goes along <br />with a driveway onto the County road, especially when you are dealing with <br />large lots. He further stated that the construction plan for County Rd. #56 <br />shows Mr. Lee's driveway being left as is because it has been there a long time. <br /> <br />Sp C/June 9, 1982 <br /> Page I <br /> <br /> <br />
